Surface Source: You have both my permission and encouragement to fit the pattern on the surface of your choice. Adjustments can be made to the pattern by either enlarging or decreasing the size slightly so the pattern will work in the area. To fill open spaces, embellish with small details such as hearts, fruit, checkered design or striped blocks. As long as the colors are from your palette the effect will be pleasing.
Ellen used this design on her business cards and letterhead for many years as Touchstones. I also made her a quilted version of this pattern which hung in her studio.
